Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is hiring a Cashier (Customer Service Associate) to be the first and last interaction for customers in our store. You will greet customers, handle checkout, returns, and basic cash office tasks while delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

This role offers both Full-Time and Part-Time positions. Expect base pay from $15.00 per hour with higher starting pay based on experience, and opportunities to travel to other stores for support as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Knowledge of basic math skills
• Customer service experience
• Potential travel to other stores for support.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Demonstrate and understand compliance of the company’s safety processes.
• Act and work in a manner consistent with the company’s core values.
• Process customers at checkout using the POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Open and close registers.
• Follow cash, check and credit card procedures.
• Answer the telephone according to guidelines.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise as required.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
