Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Cashier (Customer Service Associate) to be the first and last point of contact for customers. This role includes greeting customers, checking out purchases, handling returns, and performing basic cash office tasks to ensure an exceptional in-store experience.

Both Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, basic math ability, and willingness to travel to support other stores as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer in a helpful and courteous manner.
• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Demonstrate and understand compliance with safety processes.
• Process customers at checkout using the POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Open and close registers.
• Follow cash, check and credit card procedures.
• Stock and tag merchandise; create price tags and signs.
