Job summary

Gray Media is hiring a Customer Service & Billing Support Specialist in Florida to serve as frontline support for client portals, handling technical inquiries and daily data transfers. You will monitor portal tickets, onboard clients, administer enrollments, assist with payment portal support calls, and perform twice-daily file uploads to vendors.

Strong attention to detail and Excel skills are required, along with clear communication with clients.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of administrative, helpdesk, or billing experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, sorting, filtering).
• Familiarity with ticket management systems or client portals.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet daily and twice-daily deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication for client support.

Job Summary/Description:

In the Customer Service & Billing Support Specialist role, you will serve as frontline support for our client portals, managing technical support inquiries, assisting with user enrollments, and executing daily administrative data transfers to our vendors.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Monitor and resolve daily portal support tickets from clients and television/media stations.
• Manage client portal registrations, onboarding, and basic troubleshooting.
• Administer BCS enrollments, coordinate password resets, and troubleshoot login issues.
• Answer or make calls to clients for payment portal support.
• Execute daily, time-sensitive file uploads to vendors twice per day (AM and PM workflows).
• Provide daily/weekly backup and assistance for critical billing operations.
• Assist with DocAgent Adjustments, $5 Over/Under reconciliation, Trade Adjustments, and Split Invoices.
• Coordinate invoice delivery issues to resolve system anomalies.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma (Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in an administrative support, customer helpdesk, or billing operations role.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, sorting, and filtering).
• Familiarity with ticket management systems or client portals preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet strict daily and twice-daily deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for client-facing phone and email support.
