Job summary

Family Dollar in Winchester, IN is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You will be cross-trained to handle cash register duties and front-end tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail or similar customer service environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight in a safe manner per productivity standards.
• Merchandise and stock as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
