Job summary

Family Dollar in Thomasville, NC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to assist with daily store operations, including merchandising and supporting customers. You will be cross-trained to support the cash register and front-end duties as needed.

The role emphasizes maintaining a clean, welcoming environment, friendly interactions with customers and team members, and reliable, accurate cash handling. Part-time schedule available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Merchandise and stock as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Handle sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
