Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations and deliver a welcoming shopping experience. You will work across merchandising, stocking, and front-end duties as needed, while maintaining a friendly, efficient environment for customers and colleagues.

The role emphasizes accuracy with cash handling, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs as part of routine duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet physical demands.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting required.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, restrooms, floors, trash, and overall appearance.
• Provide positive, safe, and respectful interactions with customers and team.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
