Family Dollar is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You’ll assist customers with questions and recommendations, and manage sales transactions at the register while helping to keep the store stocked and safe.

This part-time role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Prior retail or service experience is valued, with opportunities for growth and access to store perks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or related fields is highly valued.
• Must be able to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise as needed.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
