Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help maintain store conditions to ensure a clean, welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior customer service in retail or related fields. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and communicate effectively with customers and associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Able to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team members.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
