Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, manage stock, and help unload merchandise while maintaining a safe and friendly store environment.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior customer service experience. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform standing, walking, and other physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Keep the store clean, including bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
