Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.

The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and performing various stocking and cleaning tasks. Prior retail or service industry experience is preferred, and a high school diploma or equivalent is desired.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Lifts 30–50 lbs and can frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms; sweep and mop floors; take out trash; keep areas neat and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.
