Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is hiring a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and keep the store clean and safe.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to store procedures. This is a part-time position with varying shifts and responsibilities across the store floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties as listed.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store areas clean and presentable, including bathrooms and floors.
• Participate in other duties as assigned.
