Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find the right products for home improvement projects. You will engage with shoppers, answer questions, and ensure excellent service throughout the day.

You may work in various departments, with responsibilities including setting up merchandise, assisting with checkout, and supporting others as needed. The role offers a part-time schedule with benefits eligibility where applicable.

Qualifications

• 6 months of computer experience.
• 6 months of experience with common retail technology (smartphones, tablets).
• Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform job duties.
• Able to lift at least 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock replenishment by identifying empty shelf space and replenishing items.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive items on time.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve overall customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut pipe, trim wood).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout and complete other duties as assigned.
