Job summary

Lowe’s in DeKalb, IL is hiring a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and ensure a smooth shopping experience across departments. You will interact with customers, stock merchandise, process orders, and assist at checkout throughout the day.

The role requires basic computer and retail tech skills, with opportunities to cross-train and grow within the store

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer and basic arithmetic.
• 6 months experience with common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and performing basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and deliver friendly professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise and replenish shelves when needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for on-time receipt.
• Cross-train in other store areas to support customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint, lumber, hardware).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
