Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet customers, help them find the right products, and resolve home improvement questions in-store. This role emphasizes friendly service, product knowledge, and assisting customers throughout their shopping experience.

You will work across departments as needed, with opportunities to learn multiple trades, while contributing to a safe and efficient shopping environment for everyone.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform duties as required.
• Lift up to 25 lbs unassisted, or more with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and provide friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Restock and replenish merchandise as needed on shelves.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure on-time arrival.
• Cross-train in other store areas to enhance customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut and thread pipe).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
