Job summary

Lowe's is hiring a Customer Service Associate to help customers in our retail spaces with home improvement needs. You will greet shoppers, answer questions, locate products, and ensure a positive experience throughout the store.

Responsibilities include assisting with merchandise stocking, processing orders, and sometimes loading items. The role may involve duties across multiple departments to deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform duties as required.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with accommodation if needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's and deliver friendly, professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure on-time delivery.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve overall customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., paint tint/mix, pipe cutting, wood cutting).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
