Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers, help them find products, and provide friendly, knowledgeable service in-store. You will assist with locating merchandise, processing orders, and stocking shelves, with opportunities to train in multiple departments as needed.

The role emphasizes customer interaction, accuracy in transactions, and flexibility to support various departments, with a focus on safety and efficient service in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information)
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets)
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic
• Able to perform duties with prolonged standing/sitting
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or with assistance when needed

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and deliver friendly, professional service
• Help customers locate and handle merchandise
• Down stock merchandise and replenish supplies
• Process orders and deliveries accurately and timely
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store
• Prepare department merchandise per customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/thread pipe, etc.)
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout
• Complete other duties as assigned
