Job summary

Laundry Capital is seeking a Customer Service Associate for an in-person, part-time role at our Providence location. You will help customers with laundry cards, machine selection, retail purchases, and wash-and-fold orders, while ensuring a clean, safe store environment.

Ideal candidates are comfortable with a fast-paced, customer-facing setting, can stand for long periods, and are willing to work flexible hours including overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Ability to resolve customer issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Must be able to stand for 8+ hours per shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with laundry card use, machine selection and operation, retail purchases, and wash-and-fold orders.
• Accurately operate the register or point-of-sale system.
• Maintain knowledge of products and encourage purchases of additional items.
• Keep retail items stocked and notify management when supplies run low.
• Report maintenance issues and unsafe situations to a supervisor.
