Addison Group is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative in Houston, TX. You will be the main contact for customers, coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate handling of orders, parts, and requests, using SAP and other systems.

Requires 5+ years in customer service or inside sales within a manufacturing/industrial setting, strong Excel skills, and experience with SAP or Salesforce.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly detail-oriented Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative to join their team. This position will serve as a key point of contact for customers and will work closely with internal teams to ensure customer orders, parts, and requests are handled accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with customers regarding parts, orders, availability, and other product-related inquiries.
• Coordinate closely with the warehouse to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders and parts.
• Communicate with customers professionally and effectively through email and phone.
• Enter and maintain purchase orders, parts, customer information, and related order details accurately in SAP.
• Utilize company systems and databases to track orders, customer requests, and product information.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Work closely with internal departments to resolve order, shipping, inventory, and parts-related issues.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when processing customer and order information.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and customer requests while working effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure customer needs are addressed accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of customer service or inside sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP or Salesforce.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
