Job summary

U-Haul in Santa Rosa, CA seeks a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service, assisting customers with rentals, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and using U-Scan technology to dispatch gear. The role offers on-the-job education and opportunities for growth.

Requirements include a valid driver's license and a high school diploma or equivalent. Compensation starts at an hourly rate with bonuses and benefits available to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
