Job summary

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in Cedar Rapids, Iowa is hiring for a customer-focused position that supports moving services and related products. The pay range of $14.00–$20.00 per hour includes commission and benefits, with opportunities for advancement.

We seek enthusiastic, self-motivated team members who excel in fast-paced environments and enjoy delivering exceptional service. You will upsell supplies, handle scheduling, and maintain accurate records while adhering to company values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of sales/customer service experience.
• Excellent customer relations skills: effective listening and communication.
• Creative problem solver.
• Organization and time management skills; can adjust priorities as needed.
• Confidence to initiate customer contact, and comfortable asking for the sale.
• Strong team player who works productively with a wide range of people and personalities.
• Basic computer/keyboard skills.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service on all calls and web leads.
• Recommend moving services, boxes, supplies and equipment to customers based on cost, availability or customer specifications.
• Input information into software for accurate estimating and scheduling; comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
• Obtain customer feedback through regular follow-up calls, both during and after moves; calmly and professionally handle customer concerns.
• Prepare all move-related paperwork and documents.
• All other duties as assigned (scanning receipts, data entry, office cleaning, etc.)
