Job summary

Seksun Texas Inc. in Lathrop, CA, seeks an on-site Customer Quality Engineer to partner with the Dallas plant. You will own fast containment, MRB/GP12 execution, and closed‑loop feedback to drive zero escapes on CTQ, reading GD&T drawings and clearly communicating issues and risks with customer and internal engineering.

Location: 100% on-site at the Lathrop factory with routine travel to Dallas. Responsibilities include leading on-site containment, reviewing AOI images, coordinating rework, and

Qualifications

• 3–7 years in Supplier Quality / Resident Engineering / Manufacturing Quality experience.
• Ability to read and interpret GD&T drawings and communicate deviations clearly.
• Hands-on with MRB, GP12/containment, AOI image review, and customer interactions.
• Proficient in 8D/5Why, SPC, control plans, PFMEA; able to derive measurement plans from prints.
• Strong data skills (Excel/Sheets); knowledge of Power BI/Tableau or Python is a plus.
• Excellent cross-functional and customer-facing communication; decisive under pressure.
• English required; Mandarin Chinese preferred for bilingual updates.
• Able to travel regularly between Lathrop, CA and Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities

• Customer-site presence — Lathrop (100%).
• Lead on-site containment; build suspect lists; coordinate rework/returns.
• Run MRB & GP12 for AOI-flagged parts; evidence-driven pass/fail decisions.
• Perform LPAs, line walks; verify corrective actions; maintain daily scorecards.
• Serve as day-to-day voice to customer SQ/production; deliver concise updates and recovery plans.
• Support trials/builds/audits; collect early signals and elevate with annotated prints.
• Align on change points and readiness with customer teams; feed learnings back to Dallas.
• Close loop with stamping/assembly/test/pack; update CTQs and control plans.
• Convert customer feedback into 8D/5Why; drive corrective actions.
• Publish daily briefs; escalate with quantified impact and interim mitigations.
