Job summary

Hikinex is seeking a MRB Quality Specialist to manage the Materials Review Board process and embed within manufacturing to drive containment and improvements for nonconforming materials. You will review work instructions, support inspectors with go/no-go decisions, and lead containment activities across the production floor.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing/quality, CAD proficiency, and experience with calibrated inspection tools and QMS standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in manufacturing or quality/engineering
• Experience in HW development and quality mgmt in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with CAD and inspection data management software
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Experience with calibrated equipment (calipers, micrometers, CMM, Faro arm, OMM)
• Experience reading engineering drawings and work instructions
• Experience with X-ray inspection, digital characterization, and certificates of compliance
• Experience with AS9100/ISO9001/IATF 16949 or similar QMS
• Experience with validation/testing assemblies and components
• Experience communicating with suppliers and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Manage the MRB process and be embedded in manufacturing
• Assist in containment and resolution of nonconforming materials
• Review Manufacturing Work Instructions and provide feedback
• Support inspectors with clarifications and go/no-go decisions
• Lead containment and verify non-conforming parts via inspection
• Assist root cause analysis and cross-functional triage with engineering
• Ensure accurate data collection for MRB and report metrics weekly
• Coordinate vendor RMA with warehouse and buyers to move material out of MRB
• Train technicians on inspection plans and data capture
• Propose and review continuous improvement projects for quality gains
• Perform internal audits per Quality Systems direction
• Identify trends from data and recommend process improvements
