Job summary

Camaco seeks a QA Traveling Quality Liaison to serve as the primary quality representative between Camaco manufacturing facilities and customer assembly plants. On-site support at customer locations ensures nonconforming material is identified and dispositioned promptly while minimizing production disruptions.

The role requires automotive quality knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to lead containment and corrective action activities in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Automotive quality knowledge and experience with containment and corrective actions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and maintain a high sense of urgency.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary quality liaison between CAMACO facilities, customers, and third-party containment providers.
• Respond locally to customer quality concerns and coordinate immediate containment actions.
• Represent CAMACO professionally during customer meetings, audits, and issue reviews.
• Provide timely and accurate communication regarding quality incidents, containment status, and corrective actions.
• Initiate and manage containment activities for suspect or nonconforming material.
• Conduct product inspections and sorting activities when required.
• Coordinate and supervise third-party sorting companies.
• Verify effectiveness of containment actions and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Maintain containment records, inspection reports, and traceability documentation.
• Provide regular status updates to plant leadership and customer representatives.
• Escalate quality risks that could impact customer production or satisfaction.
• Identify recurring quality concerns and opportunities for improvement.
• Support implementation of lessons learned and read-across activities across facilities.
