Job summary

RTX and Pratt & Whitney seek a Quality Engineer to lead day-to-day quality functions for the Southern Logistics Center. You will drive RCCA, coordinate audits, manage CARs and escape investigations to ensure customer satisfaction and process excellence.

You will report to the Associate Director of Quality, work onsite at the US facility, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives across the PW enterprise. Prior RCCA and SAP experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of RCCA tools and proficiency in driving robust systemic RCCA.
• Knowledge of SAP and Quality Notifications.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years in Quality, Manufacturing and/or Engineering; or an Advanced Degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects associated with Quality Logistics including Quality Reviews, Internal/External Audits, CAR Management and escape investigations.
• Report to the Associate Director of Quality for the Southern Logistics Center.
• Complete internal auditor training and perform assigned audits per the established schedule.
• Coordinate the escape management process for logistics organization including population bounding, creation/closure of inspection lots, identifying robust systemic root cause, QN task disposition and follow-up on CAPAs.
• Foster and maintain cooperative relationships with all levels of the value stream and leverage clinic-to-clinic interaction across PW enterprise.
• Improve RCCA proficiency throughout assigned organization.
• Maintain CORE discipline certification.
