Job summary

Panasonic Energy is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer Intern to join our team at the Gigafactory in Sparks, Nevada. The 12-week, full-time paid internship runs from May 17 to August 6, 2027, with a focus on learning manufacturing quality processes and supporting the Panasonic Energy and Tesla QA teams.

Ideal candidates are currently enrolled full-time in engineering, with a minimum 3.2 GPA, and at least two years of university study. Strong communication and data-analysis skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s degree program.
• GPA of 3.2 or higher required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support Customer Quality team working with Tesla Quality team.
• Analyze and evaluate process inputs/outputs using statistics and Python; apply SPC/SQC concepts.
• Update and maintain quality documentation for customer quality processes.
• Design and develop offline quality related parts to improve inspection efficiency.
• Assist in ISO 9001:2015 compliant process design and cell testing support.
