Job summary

Panasonic Energy is seeking interns to join our team of engineers at the Gigafactory in De Soto, Kansas. The program lasts 12 weeks in Summer 2027 and offers full-time, paid internship experience focusing on manufacturing quality and process improvements.

The role requires at least two years of university study, a minimum 3.2 GPA, and current enrollment as a full-time student. Onsite work and a path toward a future career in energy storage and EV-related manufacturing are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student enrolled full-time in a four-year college or university.
• GPA 3.2 or higher.
• Basic knowledge of project management processes and tools.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to write and communicate technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate process inputs/outputs using statistics, Python/SQL, JMP, and SPC/SQC concepts.
• Update and maintain quality documentation for manufacturing control points.
• Create or update SOPs related to material testing and sampling.
• Design and develop offline quality-related parts to improve inspection efficiency and safety.
• Use lab equipment to gather data supporting project objectives.
