Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer Intern to join our Gigafactory team in Sparks, NV. You will work with the Customer Quality team and Tesla Quality team, learn SPC/SQC, MSA, and data analysis, and help update quality documentation while developing offline quality processes.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student in a bachelor’s program at an accredited university.
• GPA 3.2 or higher required.
• Must have completed at least two years of study in engineering or related field.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support Customer Quality team collaborating with Tesla Quality.
• Analyze process inputs/outputs using statistics, Python, and MSA techniques.
• Update and maintain quality documentation related to customer quality processes.
• Design offline quality processes to improve inspection efficiency and safety.
• Assist in ISO 9001:2015 related quality improvements.
• Utilize lab equipment to gather data supporting project objectives.
