Melling-Too in Jackson, MI, is seeking a Customer Service Rep to manage customer orders, inquiries, and billing. This full-time role focuses on accurate order entry, data processing, and resolving issues in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates have about 1 year of clerical experience, strong communication, and familiarity with Excel, JD Edwards, and EDI order processing. Training is provided; on-site position with opportunities for growth.

Formación

• One year of clerical/administrative experience.
• Proficient with JD Edwards and EDI order processing; Excel and Word.
• Strong communication and basic math skills.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse preferred.
• Ninety day training period.
• Associate degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Engages in receiving, customer orders and product inquiries, as well as customer problem resolution via answering phone calls, faxes, email, multitasking etc.
• Responsible for order entry, data entry and account billing processes
• Responsible for verifying credit status of customers placing orders
• Verifies inventory for customers and locates parts for customers, also notifies supervisor of orders that would deplete inventory
• Knowledgeable of and supports Human Resource, Quality and Safety/Environmental policies & practices
• Strives for continuous improvement in their area of expertise and job function that results in better cost, quality, or functionality of the products we deliver to our customers
• Promote good employee relations and high morale
• Demonstrate teamwork and respect by working constructively with co-workers to achieve the best results possible
• All other duties assigned by the supervisor or department manager
