Job summary

Paylocity in Rockford, IL is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to oversee all shipping and receiving operations and to maintain accurate inventory records within our ERP system.

In this role you will handle daily receiving and shipping activities, coordinate with trucking companies, prepare goods for shipment, and ensure quality and timely delivery. A high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related experience are required; frequent lifting up to 40 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day receiving and shipping activities for manufacturing.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ERP entries; resolve quantity discrepancies.
• Package products for shipment ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with trucking companies and drivers for shipments.
• Forward material certifications to appropriate personnel.
• Support internal delivery of customer returns and warranty items.
• Identify and communicate potential issues to buyers or customer service
