Job summary

Kirkland's in Southaven, MS seeks a Sales Leader focused on customer-obsessed selling, product knowledge and visual presentation. You will work with the Store Manager to execute business plans and lead the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will train staff on loyalty, promotions and merchandise, model professional behavior, and manage MOD duties, freight, stockroom organization and inventory accuracy to maximize store performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year management experience in a retail or service environment.
• Strong communications skills and customer selling experience required.

Responsibilities

• Leads, supports and values customer selling in store and online (ship to store) experiences.
• Cultivates a customer-obsessed culture prioritizing selling behaviors.
• Understanding your role in sales growth and how you contribute and impact store profitability.
• Reads customer cues to create an exceptional in-store experience.
• Educates customers on loyalty programs, current promotions and merchandise.
• Represents the brand by treating customers and co-workers with respect while supporting a common goal.
• Models and upholds all company policies and procedures.
• Executes Manager on Duty (MOD) responsibilities such as opening/closing procedures and team supervision.
• Assists in freight processing, stockroom organization, merchandising presentation, pricing and inventory accuracy.
