Job summary

Kirkland’s is seeking a Sales Leader to guide daily store operations and drive superior customer service. You will coach the team, model best selling practices, and ensure the store meets its sales targets. This role blends in-store and online selling with strong presentation and branding standards.

Expect to lead by example, manage managers-on-duty tasks, and maintain stockroom organization while upholding Kirkland’s Home Values. Weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of retail or service management experience.
• Strong communications skills and customer selling experience.
• Energetic, people and results oriented with drive to succeed.
• Valid Driver license.
• Ability to read and interpret company directives, handbook, and manuals.
• Able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Flexible schedule to meet store needs.
• Ability to stand, move, and assist customers for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Proficient with operating a POS system.

Responsibilities

• Leads, supports and values customer selling in store and online experiences.

• Reads cues and responds to customers to create an exceptional in-store experience.
• Educates customers on loyalty programs, promotions and merchandise assortment.

• Leads by example and enforces company policies and procedures.
• Performs Manager on Duty duties including opening/closing and supervision.
• Assists in freight processing and maintains organized stockroom and inventory accuracy.
