Job summary

Kirkland’s is seeking a Sales Leader to drive customer-focused selling and lead a team in presenting exceptional in-store experiences. You will model behavior that prioritizes rapport with customers and maximize sales while upholding company policies.

You will mentor staff, supervise daily tasks, and participate in opening/closing procedures to ensure store profitability and exceptional service. This role requires weekend and evening availability and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year management experience in a retail or service industry preferred.
• Strong communications skills and customer selling experience.
• Energetic, people and results oriented, competitive with a drive to succeed.
• Valid Driver license; ability to handle funds as required.

Responsibilities

• Leads, supports and values customer selling in both in-store and online experiences.
• Promotes a customer-obsessed culture prioritizing selling behaviors like Greeting, Re-engaging, Educating, Adding on and Thanking customers.
• Understands role in sales growth and store profitability.
• Reads customer cues and responds to create an exceptional in-store experience.
• Educates customers on loyalty programs, promotions and merchandise to build baskets.
