Job summary

Kirkland's, Inc. is seeking a Sales Leader in Deptford Township to drive customer-centric selling and lead store teams. You will model excellence in customer interactions, support the team, and ensure merchandising and checks align with company standards.

You will guide on loyalty programs, promotions, and product assortment while upholding brand values and ensuring profitability through strong floor leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; college preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience in retail or service.
• Strong communications skills and customer selling experience.
• Energetic, people- and results-oriented with drive to succeed.
• Valid Driver license and ability to handle company funds safely.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; flexible schedule including weekends/holidays/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Leads and supports customer selling in-store and online experiences.
• Fosters a customer-obsessed culture focused on greeting, re-engaging, educating, adding on, and thanking customers.
• Understanding role in sales growth and store profitability.
• Reads cues and responds to create exceptional in-store experiences.
• Educates customers on loyalty programs, promotions and merchandise.
• Acts as brand ambassador, upholding policies and professional conduct.
• Executes MOD responsibilities including opening/closing and team supervision.
• Assists in freight processing, stockroom organization and inventory accuracy.
