Job summary

Mariner Finance is seeking an energetic customer service associate at our Beaufort, SC location. You will handle loan applications, assess credit information, and engage customers with tailored loan options while meeting branch goals.

The role requires at least one year in customer service or sales, a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills. Training on financial software and insurance licenses will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service or sales role.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar programs.
• Ability to learn financial services programs.
• Must obtain applicable licenses to sell insurance offered by the branch.
• Must perform work at the assigned branch location unless approved by the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by proactively solving problems and presenting loan solutions based on customer needs.
• Process credit loan applications and analyze credit & financial information for customers.
• Proactively contact customers with past due balances to offer solutions and resolve delinquency.
• Achieve results by meeting or exceeding individual and branch sales goals for company products and services.
• Learn applicable Federal, State, and Local consumer laws to ensure compliant actions.
• Maintain a cash drawer, process payments, and deliver deposits as required.
• May perform additional functions based on market demand and branch staffing to ensure quality customer service.
