Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Intermediate PC knowledge with basic Microsoft Office skills.
• One year of cashier or teller experience (experience within the past five years).
• Two years of cashier or teller experience (preferred).
• Cash drawer balancing experience (preferred).
• Ability to work in a team environment (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills (preferred).
• Ability to multitask and manage duties effectively (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members in a courteous, professional, and timely manner, delivering prompt, accurate transactions.
• Receive checks and cash for deposits, verify amounts, and endorse properly.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals after verifying member balances.
• Process mail, postings, and prepare items for branch shipment as applicable.
• Maintain knowledge of credit union products, policies, and robbery procedures.
• Promote, explain, and cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Receive and process loan payments.
• Balance cash drawer and resolve discrepancies with supervision.
• Keep teller station stocked with supplies for daily duties.
• Check night depository and record information per procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
