Job summary

Family Security Credit Union is seeking a Teller to assist members with transactions and maintain high service standards. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, loan payments and cash handling with accuracy, while promoting credit union products.

The role requires attention to policy, security procedures and member satisfaction. The position emphasizes courteous service, teamwork and the ability to multitask across frontline and drive-thru duties, with opportunities to grow within the branch

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• One year of cashier or teller experience (within past five years).
• Basic PC skills and Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and perform transactional duties with accuracy and courtesy.
• Receive checks and cash for deposits, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals after balance verification.
• Process mail, postings, and prepare items for branch shipment.
• Maintain knowledge of credit union products, policies and robbery procedures.
• Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Receive and process loan payments.
• Balance cash drawer and research discrepancies with supervisor.
• Keep teller station stocked and ready for daily duties.
• Follow procedures for night depository and other transactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
