Job summary

Kelco Industries in Woodstock, IL, seeks a Technical Customer Solutions Specialist to serve as the primary customer contact, coordinate quotations, orders, and delivery schedules. You will work with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Logistics to fulfill customer requirements and ensure timely responses.

The role focuses on accurate quotations, order entry, and maintaining strong customer relationships while supporting profitability objectives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Two to five years of inside sales, account support or order management in manufacturing.
• Experience with industrial fasteners or cold-formed components preferred.
• Experience with ERP and Microsoft Office favored.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers via phone and email.
• Review requests for quotation, drawings, and engineering specifications.
• Prepare accurate quotations using pricing guidelines and margins.
• Enter and verify customer orders, part numbers, pricing, tolerances, and delivery.
• Coordinate with Engineering on product specs, capabilities, and requirements.
• Work with Purchasing and Production on material availability and lead times.
• Monitor open orders and provide updates on production status and delivery dates.
• Resolve order, pricing, billing, scheduling, and delivery discrepancies.
• Follow up on quotations and inquiries to support opportunities and relationships.
• Maintain customer profiles, quotation activity, and order history.
