Job summary

Big R Stores in Colorado Springs, CO is hiring for a Team Member to join our store team. Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering questions, guiding them through departments such as Clothing, Yard, and Sporting Goods, stocking shelves, processing transactions, and supporting management to resolve issues.

This role supports a friendly, professional shopping experience in a multi-department environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers as they enter the building and as you come into contact with them throughout the store.
• Listening to their needs and responding to their questions or concerns in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
• Strive to create a positive experience by attentive, patient, and respectful, offering accurate information, and going above and beyond to meet customer expectations.
• Address issues promptly with support from a member of management to find effective solutions and ensure customers feel valued, appreciated, and satisfied with the service the receive.
• Stock and organize products by: ensuring shelves and displays are consistently replenished, neatly arranged, and properly labeled.
• Monitor inventory levels, rotate products to maintain freshness and quality, and place items in their designated locations to make them easy for customers to find.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-organized sales floor, check for damaged or expired products, and communicate low-stock items to a member of management.
• Work efficiently to keep products readily available, improve the overall shopping experience, and maintain an attractive and organized store environment.
• Computer operations are used for: Processing customer transactions.
• Assist customers with their needs such as looking up products for availability for purchase.
• Customer Loyalty account setup.
• General cleaning and upkeep of all areas of the store as assigned.
• Use clear, pleasant and professional methods of communication when answering phones, 2-way radio calls, making announcements over the PA system.
