Job summary

Big R Stores in Canon City, Colorado is seeking a Team Member to assist customers, stock shelves, and process transactions while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

The role involves assisting customers, answering questions, and collaborating with teammates. Must be able to work weekends and stand for long periods; base pay is $15.16–$17.00 per hour with full-time scheduling options in a supportive retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers as they enter the building and as you come into contact with them throughout the store.
• Listening to their needs and responding to their questions or concerns in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
• Strive to create a positive experience by attentive, patient, and respectful service, offering accurate information.
• Address issues promptly with support from a member of management to find effective solutions and ensure customers feel valued.
• Stock and organise products by ensuring shelves and displays are replenished, neatly arranged, and properly labeled.
• Monitor inventory levels, rotate products to maintain freshness and quality, and place items in their designated locations.
• Maintain a clean, orderly sales floor, check for damaged or expired products, and communicate low-stock items to management.
• Work efficiently to keep products readily available and maintain an attractive store environment.
• Processing customer transactions and assisting with product availability lookups and loyalty account setup.
• General cleaning and upkeep of all areas and clear, pleasant communication when answering phones and using radios.
