Job summary

Big R Stores in Alamosa, CO is seeking a friendly Team Member to assist customers, stock shelves, process transactions, and keep the sales floor organized. You’ll welcome shoppers, answer questions, and help locate products with a positive, patient attitude. Flexible weekend scheduling and a strong work ethic are valued.

Starting wage is $15.16–$17.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement in a family-owned retail environment that emphasizes teamwork and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

Welcoming customers and responding to questions in a friendly, professional manner.
Ability to stock, rotate, and organize shelves to keep displays neat.
Process transactions using the POS system and assist with loyalty accounts.
Flexibility to work weekend shifts and support multiple departments as needed.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers as they enter the store and assist throughout their visit.
Respond to questions or concerns with patience and accuracy.
Stock and organize products, maintain clean shelves, and report low stock.
Process customer transactions and assist with product lookups.
Perform general cleaning and upkeep as assigned.
