Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. Capitola store is seeking a customer-focused team member to help shoppers locate products and complete purchases in a fast, friendly manner. You will assist with unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and keeping the store well-merchandised for a great customer experience.

Responsibilities include promoting Rewards and credit options, guiding customers through store processes, and maintaining SOPs while upholding the company’s standards and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with shopping and locating products
• Provide a fast, friendly checkout with cash handling to standards
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards with enrollments
• Support BOPIS and Ship From Store processes
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) duties
• Maintain in-stock, well-merchandised store and perform merchandise recovery
