Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and help them find products for home improvement. You will interact with customers, assist with locating and selecting items, and ensure needs are met throughout the day.

You will spend time listening to customers, answering questions, and organizing merchandise, with daily duties varying by department. Opportunities for growth and skill development are available.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand or sit for long periods and perform duties.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with/without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Help customers locate and handle merchandise.
• Stock shelves and replenish supplies as needed.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately for timely receipt of merchandise.
• Cross-train in other store areas to improve customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise (e.g., tint paint, cut pipes, wood, drywall, blinds).
• Assist customers through shopping or checkout.
