Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a driven Customer Engineer to develop interconnect solutions for automotive, robotics, AI infrastructure and data centers. You will interface with customers, internal engineering, and sales to drive design proposals and product improvements.

The role requires deep PCB design experience, proficiency with industry tools, and the ability to translate customer needs into actionable product concepts while collaborating

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills for global orgs at all levels
• Proficiency with PCB/electrical design tools such as Altium/Cadence/OrCAD/PADS/KiCad
• Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals including power distribution and grounding
• Ability to access customer needs and propose concepts/new product ideas

Responsibilities

• Support growth in Automotive, Robotics, Energy Storage & AI infrastructure markets
• Develop solutions addressing customer needs and technical requirements
• Lead design reviews and customer meetings
• Create technical presentations and proposals for customers
• Proficient in Windchill, Creo and product configurators
• Hands-on prototyping, testing, debugging, and hardware troubleshooting
• Travel may be required
