Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks an Application Development Engineer to develop new opportunities and grow strategic customer relationships across North America. You will interface with customers, product development, marketing, and sales teams to drive interconnect solutions.

The role emphasizes PCB design, schematic capture, component selection, layout, and the use of tools such as Altium, Cadence/OrCAD, PADS, KiCad.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions addressing customer needs and technical requirements.
• Create technical presentations to propose concepts and solutions to customers.
• Lead internal design reviews and product development meetings with customers.
• Prototyping, testing, debugging, and hardware troubleshooting.
