Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking an Application Engineer to support data center, AI networking, and HPC customers in qualification, deployment, and optimization of active cable products. You will focus on high-speed interconnects including 112G-336G technologies, working with customers in system-level environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in application engineering, field application engineering, validation, system debug, interoperability testing, or product engineering.
• Experience with high-speed interconnect products such as retimer/redriver-based cable assemblies.
• Hands-on experience supporting customer qualification or system-level validation for data center, networking, AI, or HPC.
• Experience working directly with customers in technical debug, qualification, or field support.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer technical support and qualification for active cable products.
• Collaborate with customers to define system requirements and test criteria.
• Visit customer sites for hands-on debug, lab support, and training.
• Support qualification across 112G, 224G, 336G, and future generations.
• Collaborate with signal integrity, hardware, firmware, validation, product management, sales, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.
