Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is assisting a Bakersfield-based professional services organization in adding a Customer Service Collections Representative. This onsite role focuses on managing accounts, communicating with customers about balances, and supporting collections efforts to maintain healthy cash flow while delivering a positive customer experience.

You’ll collaborate with accounting and operations, handle payment arrangements, and document activities in the CRM.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service and collections experience.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to de-escalate customer concerns.
• Experience working with accounting software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Prior experience in accounts receivable, financial services, professional services, or related industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound customer communications regarding account balances and payment status
• Process collections activities while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach
• Review customer accounts to identify delinquent balances and follow up on outstanding invoices
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
• Maintain accurate account notes, payment records, and collection activities within company systems
