Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona is seeking a Retail Team Member to operate the register, assist customers, and promote a positive shopping experience. You will handle POS payments, donations at the register, and price items with leadership guidance.

Maintaining a clean, organized sales floor and upholding Goodwill values is essential. Qualified applicants should have a high school diploma (or equivalent), strong math and customer service skills, and be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions in English.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Performs POS responsibilities and processes all forms of payments.
• Asks each customer for cash donations at POS.
• Establishes or identifies prices of goods via the type of merchandise, markings, or help from a leader.
• Completes closing procedures, as necessary.
• Greets customers and thanks them entering or leaving the store.
• Maintains sales floor standards and organizes merchandise.
• Stocks merchandise in assigned areas.
• Uses phones and paging systems to make announcements.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment.
• Models Goodwill Core Values—Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
