Job summary

Kroger is seeking a friendly, customer-focused cashier to provide outstanding service at our Richmond store. You will greet customers, process transactions, and help maintain a safe, clean shopping environment.

Responsibilities include using the POS system, handling various tender types, and following company policies on restricted items and loss prevention. This role is on-site and part-time, with opportunities for growth within Kroger’s family of stores.

Qualifications

• Basic math: counting, addition, subtraction.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers in-store.
• Process transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Understand POS system and handle cash, checks, credit/debit, and loyalty offers per policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and prevent loss.
• Follow policies for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator.
