Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the checkout.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately.
• Understand POS and handle cash, checks, cards, and loyalty offers.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and loss-prevention guidelines.
• Follow restrictions on restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and follow coupon/gift card procedures.
• Stay updated with ads and promotions.
• Maintain food safety standards and safety procedures.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions; ensure equipment is maintained.
• Assist customers with product questions and locate items as needed.
• Follow laws and company guidelines; manage conflicts calmly.
• Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
