Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage and assist customers in the store.
• Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently at the check lane.
• Operate the POS system and handle various payment methods according to policy.
• Adhere to cash handling limits and loss prevention guidelines.
• Follow guidelines for restricted sale items (Alcohol, Tobacco, DVDs).
• Report pricing discrepancies and maintain posting accuracy.
• Maintain food safety and store cleanliness standards.
• Identify safety hazards and follow procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Assist in maintaining equipment and store operations as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and answer product questions.
